2.30-3.45pm Speakers: (15 min each)

Alex Charrington, MFA Fine Art, Newcastle University 2015. Based in the North-East, his recent screen prints are abstract colour spaces that are full of light. He has exhibited in spaces such as the BALTIC and the London Drawing Room. He now manages his own print studio where he works with artists.

Daisy Billowes, BA Fine Art, Newcastle University, 2015. Daisy is now working on her MA at the Royal College of Art. Her work focuses mainly in printmaking and she has participated in many exhibitions including Lazos/Ties.

Julia McKinlay MFA Fine Art, the Slade School of Fine Art, 2014. Julia has exhibited since 2008 and her work appears in the UCL Art Museum. In 2014 she received the Boise Travel Scholarship and travelled to Iceland. 

Rosie Morris, MFA Fine Art, Newcastle University, 2012. Rosie works in painting, installation, performance and print. In 2016 she was awarded a 'Grants for the Arts' award from Arts Council England for Circles and Slices of Spheres her first solo show at Laing Art Gallery, Newcastle upon Tyne, which is currently being exhibited until 8th Jan 2017.

Alfons Bytautas RSA (Member, Royal Scottish Academy) studied at the Edinburgh College of Art. Alfonso was employed by Edinburgh Printmakers as a Master printer where he worked on projects with many artists such as Alan Davie, Callum Innes and John Bellany. He is now Principal Technician (Arts) at Northumbria University.
